Toronto Newborn Family Photography: Welcoming a New Chapter
A new arrival changes the family picture. Let’s remember everyone in it.
A newborn session can celebrate more than those tiny first details. It can also record the parents and siblings who are welcoming a new family member. This Bellevie newborn family collection brings all five members together in a simple studio setting, with soft ivory clothing, a pale grey background and the newborn wrapped at the heart of the photographs.
One family, several meaningful connections
The full-length family portrait shows the whole group and their coordinated outfits. A seated composition brings everyone closer together for another view of the family at this stage.
There is room for smaller connections, too: a mother holding her newborn close, a portrait with both parents, and photographs of each parent alongside the older siblings. The collection finishes with the three children together on a soft white surface, giving their new sibling relationship its own place in the story.
These different groupings are why a newborn family session can feel so personal. Years from now, the photographs can help you remember not only how little your newborn was, but how your family looked as it grew.
A simple setting that keeps your family in focus
The grey background and white seating blocks give this collection a clean, understated look. Cream and ivory tones connect the outfits without making every member dress identically. The closer portraits complement the wider views, keeping attention on expressions, hands and the way the family gathers around the newborn.

Choosing a newborn package with family portraits
Selected Bellevie newborn packages combine newborn setups with a mini family portrait session. Premium and Gold offer different combinations; please review the current newborn packages for the exact setup choices, session time, member allowance and delivered images.
Tell us every member you would like included, including older siblings. This featured family has five members, so do not assume its group size is included in every package. Confirm any additional-member arrangements and fees before booking.
Planning your Toronto newborn family photography session
We recommend enquiring one to three months before the expected arrival. Bellevie’s preferred newborn photography window is generally around 10–15 days, ideally around day 10. Each newborn responds differently, and we adapt the photographs to their comfort rather than guaranteeing a particular pose or sleep state.
If you can attend on different weekdays, ask about reserving with a TBD date and arranging the appointment with us after the birth, subject to availability. A fixed-date booking also has one complimentary reschedule when requested at least seven days before the appointment, subject to both sides being available and the booking terms.
A studio visit near Highway 7 and Leslie
Bellevie’s studio is in Richmond Hill, near Highway 7 and Leslie Street and close to Highway 404. We serve Toronto families, including North York and Scarborough, along with Markham, Vaughan and the wider Greater Toronto Area.
Newborn sessions currently take place at our studio; in-home services are not offered. The studio provides space for family portraits and access to our newborn setups. Please discuss and confirm your selections before the appointment so we can prepare them.
Questions about newborn family photographs
Can older siblings join?
Yes, family portraits can include older siblings within the arrangements agreed for your package. Let us know their ages and your preferred combinations in advance.
Will we receive edited or retouched photographs?
Edited photographs are finished images with colour, cropping, contrast and sharpness adjustments. Retouching is an additional stage of digital refinement. Your newborn package explains the edited images and selected retouched images you receive. Camera RAW files are not supplied.
What if our newborn is older than 20 days?
Please tell us when enquiring. Some small newborn setups and poses may be less suitable, and awake portraits may form part of the collection. We can discuss the options before you book.
Keep a place for everyone in the story
Today’s photograph becomes tomorrow’s reminder of how your family began this chapter. At Bellevie, we hope to help you record the new arrivals, the growing siblings and the milestones that follow.
