About Newborn Session

Before you book your session, take a moment to read through our most commonly asked questions. It’ll help you feel fully prepared and confident — so you can just relax and enjoy this special experience.

Before booking

  • It’s best to book your newborn session while you’re still pregnant, this helps secure your spot and allows flexibility to adjust the exact date based on your baby’s arrival.

  • Sessions are scheduled 5-15 days after you deliver to ensure a sleepy baby for capturing those adorable, curled-up poses.

  • Please confirm your photography package and scene choices before the session to help us arrange your exclusive shooting space and time. The photographer will prepare your selected scenes, outfits, and props in advance, minimizing your waiting time.

  • Deposit is $113, You can EMT the payment to bk@bellevieco.ca. Please include your name in the memo, the remaining balance is to be paid in full on the day of the photoshoot. The deposit is non-refundable. If the shoot needs to be canceled due to special circumstances, the deposit will be converted into a store credit, which can be used for any future shoots with no expiration date.

In-Studio Session

  • Please bring the essentials for your baby, such as extra diapers, wipes, and bottles (if bottle-feeding). You may also bring sentimental items or outfits you'd like your baby to wear in the photos.

  • The session is designed to be relaxed and calm, with breaks as needed to keep your baby comfortable.

  • The studio will provide props, blankets, and backdrops ready to capture your baby in adorable poses.

After your session

  • After the session, the photographer will carefully curate and edit the best images, the final edited images will be delivered in a private online gallery within 1 week.

  • Once you’ve selected the photos for retouching, we will complete the edits within 2 weeks. The retouching includes skin corrections and scene adjustments, but does not include modifications to facial features, hair color, hairstyles, or outfits.
