This Nordic Christmas portrait session at BelleVie brings those moments into a bright winter setting, with snowy trees, soft cream textures and a little Scandinavian-inspired cottage.

A softer kind of Christmas

Our Nordic scene pairs frosted greenery with white ornaments, natural wood details and a curved white sofa. A wreath above the cottage doorway and playful snowmen add a festive touch without taking attention away from the family. The gentle palette leaves room for expressions, movement and connection.

Cream knitwear worked beautifully for this session. The cosy textures echoed the sofa and winter decorations, while the simple colours kept the portraits feeling calm and timeless. From family cuddles to baby’s own little moment

We love making space for different combinations within a family session. A portrait together tells one part of the story; a parent holding their baby close tells another. In this series, the wider photographs show the whole winter scene, while the closer moments bring us back to little hands, happy expressions and the comfort of being held.
